Director of Operations
Kelley Mattice has been the Regional Property Manager for Beechtree Properties since February 2022, bringing over 25 years of experience in property management and real estate. She has managed multi-site residential, mixed-use, and commercial properties, excelling in budgeting, leasing, vendor management, and resident retention. A hands-on leader, Kelley is known for her dedication to both her employees and residents, ensuring that every community she oversees thrives. Before joining Beechtree, she worked extensively in new home construction sales and management, helping buyers navigate the building process. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in contract negotiations and financial reporting. Outside of work, Kelley is a devoted mother of three and an avid soccer fan. She enjoys staying active, attending her daughter’s sporting events, and spending time with her two dogs.

Sr. Property Manager/Regional Trainer
Kristen Steele, a property manager with Beechtree Partners since 2017, combines her Hospitality and Tourism Management degree with a passion for creating welcoming living spaces. She builds strong resident relationships through personalized service, ensuring they feel at home. Based in Northern Michigan, Kristen enjoys hiking, skiing, and embracing the outdoors, reflecting her well-rounded, customer-focused approach.

Chad Lahey brings over two decades of real estate expertise, skillfully brokering hundreds of transactions across six Midwestern states. His extensive experience, combined with exceptional communication skills and unwavering dedication to customer service, makes him the ideal choice for all your real estate needs. An enthusiastic cyclist, downhill skier, and boater, Chad thrives on the excitement of outdoor adventures. In his free time, he enjoys exploring nature with Ashley and their beloved dogs, Ophie and Winston.

Scott Knowlton’s entire 25+ year career, both legal and non-law related has been focused on commercial real estate development and management. Graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1998 from Michigan State University College of Law, Scott developed and ran a private law practice focusing on commercial real estate development and leasing. In 2012, he left private practice and joined Greg and Peter Oleszczuk to form the three-way partnership of Midwest Property Development and its many affiliated real estate development entities. Scott is General Counsel and Vice President of Midwest Property Development and Westwind Construction. Scott is also the Associate Broker and General Counsel for Beechtree Partners. Scott brings strong leadership and extensive legal and non-law related experience to both the construction company and the various development companies and projects. Scott resides in Norton Shores Michigan with his wife Julie. They have three (mostly-grown) children and a new dog named Charlie (a.k.a. “Chuck”). In his free time, Scott fancies himself as a slightly above-average golfer, he enjoys boating, biking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Peter Oleszczuk has been immersed in the construction and development industry from a young age, building a career rooted in experience, vision, and strategic leadership. With 20+ years of expertise in industrial, commercial, and multi-family construction and development, he serves as the President of BeechTree Partners. Peter’s leadership is defined by strong management skills, a forward-thinking approach, and a keen eye for selecting and developing prime real estate locations. He oversees all aspects of real estate development, from site selection to project completion, ensuring that every project aligns with BeechTree Partners’ high standards. Passionate about creating high-quality developments that enhance communities, Peter is committed to fostering strong relationships with investors, tenants, and business partners. Beyond his role in real estate, Peter is actively involved in local business and development initiatives and supports community projects that drive economic growth in Michigan. Residing in Norton Shores, Michigan, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife, Alicia, and their two children, Alivia and Zander.
